Lol.  A similar thing happened when I was in sixth grade. A kid doing a report on the 1906 San Francisco earthquake cited an article in The Onion titled "Earthquake Marks Least Gay Day in San Francisco History." His thought it meant "least happy day, " and his defense was that it was dated 1906.

Really! sad that you are making fun of all FOOTBALL {the real football} fans all over the world...
