Hi,

Nice tutorial, but I have a question.
when you have generate your new material how to save it in a custom Library?
It's possible to create new lib via the button in the boottm left of the Matarial Browser Window, but most often the Lib is locked... how is it possible to unlock it in order to add/edit saved materials?
Many Thanks

You do great tutorials! I also have been following your Blender ones.
Note on this one: I noticed that although you changed the scale of the first DIFF you did not go in and also change the NORMAL, or maybe I missed it...When I scaled the DIFF down, the gaps/spaces between the tiles was not synchronized with the DIFF image -- after scaling it down to the same amount, everything lined up again.

Thank you so much! Your tutorial made my sketch go from ok to beautiful. I'll be 3-D printing it tomorrow. I appreciate the clear and thorough instruction.

Are the textures 3D? Like if I 3D print a sphere for example with a cloth texture using this method will it print with the texture or is it jolly possible to view/render the texture virtually

How did you get the menu to appear at 4:10?

I am pretty new to Fusion 360. I recently was surprised that even though materials are listed in the UI they don't have actual textures. There are some basic textures for wood like pine and mahogany but others like redwood don't exist out of the box. Is there a library free or to purchase that would add rending for a good number of standard textures for woodworking?

Hi thanks for the video, but what should I use physical material or appearance in fusion 360? because I still confuse about this appearance concept in here.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge here on YT. Great content and very helpful. May I ask one question. I would like to render a diamond, which is pretty handy to do in F360, but I would like to add a more colorful sparkling within the diamond. I have try around with the refraction index act but can't get the result I would like to have. As well if The Diamond is rendered our with "transparent background" in Print resolution I will get something like to "look through" the diamond. So I have refinish this via Affinity photo. is there a way to avoid this. Sorry for asking for so much.

I can't get the menu to appear. This is really making me frustrated. In your video you do not explain where that menu came from. Its a mystery. Is it from an old version of Fusion?

The Menu looks different now and I'm not able to create a material because of it at the add materials step

Hi, is there a possibility to use the other maps as well?

Those are appearances ( textures ), and not Materials. The video title is deceiving.

Hey Justin, you are refreshing new face to the F360 tutorial world! I noticed your likes are kinda low. Not sure why?
I hope you keep the videos coming.
