My Twitter:

This is a new video format I'm calling Animonthly, spotlighting amazing animation from across the internet. Animonthly was originally a Twitter hashtag I posted for many years where I would retweet work from across the internet once per month, but with my platform on YouTube being as large as it is now I wanted to bring a lot of that attention to the artists. So please go check out anything that interests you and show those animators your support!

AI helping you colour in your animation without needing to stop each frame to paint it actually feels more like what I WANT Ai for rather than just straight up replacing me

Lackadaisy is one of the best animated pilots I've seen on YouTube and I hope they do more. It deserves all the love and support it can get

Another animation that came out recently that I believe deserves a spotlight on this segment is A Fox in Space: Episode Two. The subtle details in the animation, the characters, and the storytelling are all amazing and it deserves way more views than it currently has.

3:06 there's actually a real version of this from 2010. It was made by carving 25 apples, though the framerate is way lower as it would take way longer to make otherwise. The original is on Nico Nico Douga but it's been reuploaded to YouTube.

I love this. As someone who is hoping to share art and expand, it's really exciting to see my favorite artists use their influence to spotlight other, smaller artists. Much love Ross, you sweet Australian menace.

Not even an animator, but I'm so thankful for you doing this. It's a great inspiration and also introduces tonnes of great content to consume. Really hope for more of these

I absolutely love this format of video. I often find it super hard to keep up with all the awesome things online animators do.

If Ranma 1/2 ends up getting a reboot this is what it exactly needs with this animation that captured the original source but overall it's amazing

Edit: Ranma 1/2 is getting a remake which I'm excited for, Let's go Ranma 1/2 ❤️, childhood series here I come! 😆

love this format of chill, rapid-fire highlights of animation! it really helps stuff like that get the attention they deserve, and it’s really inspiring for someone like me who wants to animate more

As someone who is a HUGE fan of Animation but don’t really step outside the YT sphere so much I really appreciate this, most of the stuff from Twitter I wasn’t aware of at all!
Love this video and the idea, hope we’ll see it again in future!

As an aspiring artist seeing all of these great animations back to back in such a short timeframe and giving me some insight into the world of animation (which as of right now is far beyond my capabilities) is really quite inspiring, thank you, I hope Animonthly is a series you'll keep at and that it blows up

Absolutely needed a video like this today. Seeing how awesome the art community is & cool tools that are in the works BY US, FOR US.... makes me so hopeful. Thank you for sharing.

Holy shit Ross, thank you for this! I didn't know I needed something like this until now but having someone with such an appreciation for animation do a recap of all the big events is SO COOL. I've adored your work for years but to use your platform to promote animation AS A WHOLE is so heartwarming. Thank you for being pillar of the animation community, as someone who has little to no stakes in it himself, being able to enjoy these experiences in such a succinct, and satisfying format is truly incredible. Thank you for your hard work!
