No....this story tells that you can do anything if God is on your side doesn't matter how old, young, wish, fool, strong, weak, God is happy in you and on your side you are unstoppable.

This is probably my all time favorite Bible story. Ever since I heard it in children’s church when I was like 6 or 7, it’s always amazed me. And I’m now 17. Though they sugarcoated it all they left out was the fact that David actually used goliath’s sword and cut his head off.

For every Goliath that may come to you in life, God will always provide you a stone and even if you miss, he will always keep your pouch full.

My favorite part of this story is that David actually begins to run at Goliath in the verse before he releases the stone. David knew that God was protecting him and would deliver him to victory. David did not just wait to see if the stone would fell the giant either, he closed the gap, brought the giant to the ground, relinquished the massive sword from Goliath, and took the giant's head. Confidence in God's plan allows us to run at our troubles like David did.
