Beautiful playing guys! Jack I remember you back in the early 2000s, NY state, I was substitute teaching and would see you with your mandolin and think, that guys got something. Best.

This melody is not traditional - but was composed by an American Rabbi, Israel Goldfarb, on May 10, 1918. Shalom Aleichem was first published by Rabbi Goldfarb in the hymnal Friday Evening Melodies later that year, which was copywrited and recorded at the Library of Congress.
