The fact that health care is more then most people’s salary is insane

Never been more grateful for the British NHS after this. It’s free 🙌🏻

“Bet you could get that cheaper on Amazon”
I’ve never heard something more relatable.

Ask for an itemized bill! 80% of hospital bills have errors. Which means it most likely has an error

🇵🇱 In Poland, childbirth and all health care is free if you are a working person (of course, during childbirth you are already on sick leave and then on maternity leave which in Poland is 1 year for which you get a salary all the time) or you have a husband who works. Seeing the prices that an ordinary American citizen pays for treatment, I am shocked 😬 That is why we love Poland 🇵🇱 Greetings from Poland ❤

Healthcare worker here. Call the hospital and get mad confrontational but stay polite. Most of the time they’ll knock off some of the cost because they know it’s BS

As a Canadian, those prices no joke made my jaw drop! I’ve never been more glad to have free health care

I had Hernia surgery 4 years ago and it cost me $260 cause that’s my private room topup plus I was offered a beer as part of post Op recovery ! Welcome to Australia 🇦🇺

I had the same surgery in australia. Chose to go private to choose my dr. Cost me about $150 to consult with the dr, $100 co-pay for my hospital stay, and around $20 for medication.
This is considered expensive as it was the private system.

I'm from Canada and this makes me so sad for everyone in America. My best friend went bankrupt last time he needed surgery

I live in Canada. I had a very serious break to my ankle in April. I've had 4 surgeries, and 1 full week stay in the hospital and the only thing I paid out of pocket was parking charges.

UK here and ridiculously thankful for our free heath care after seeing this 🙌

Germany here,
never been more thankful for our healthcare. A hospital visit costs me about 10€ per day when I pick up any prescribed meds, it’s 5€ per prescription
