Sometimes I do it just for the fun of it simply to annoy someone. 😂 Seriously, you'll find Filipinos doing this because we're considerate of what the other person would feel or how they'll take it. So we kinda beat around the bush and say thing gently. But of course, we can be direct person too. We can easily adjust or adapt to any situation.. You know that.😉

one of the meanings of beat in slang is: (to move with a pulsation or throbbing )and I think that's close to the meaning it's obvious I guess
