Those bottles would be great if I had room to store them. I had success this year surrounding plants with 2-liter soda bottles filled with water. No frost damage and lots of early growth on the peppers. Low cost wall o’ water.

I use ice cream buckets with a brick on top. I also use milk jugs. They work good 👍 I take them off the plants in the morning or afternoon.

What a great idea, I use milk jugs but the get to small as the plants grow.

Pretty expensive. There must be something similar that would not cannibalize these useful bottles.
