Three jaw chuck versus a Four jaw chuck with independent teeth.

I am just getting my atlas craftsman mini lathe model one oh one set up and I was curious as to what some of your opinions are when it comes to the chuck. Do you prefer a three jaw chuck that titan simultaneously or do you prefer a forger chock where the teeth are tightened independently of each other? I suppose it depends on what you’re doing for work of course I was just curious of some of your opinions as to what chuck you use more. Again this is a craftsman mini lathe model 101 made by atlas. It depends. If you are looking for less run out I'd recommend the 4 jaw. Check the run out on the 3 jaw and if the parts your going to be making fall within that tolerance, run with that
