It's so odd how a holiday that emphasizes presents more than reading the bible (Due to its religious roots) is celebrated but a non religious holiday that emphasizes character development and a peaceful community is somehow laughable or to be rejected. Meanwhile how many Americans were stressed out that they wouldn't have a wonderful Christmas because of the amount of money in their bank accounts and on going inflation? I'm sure participants of Kawanzaa didn't have to worry about having a cheap or small holiday season... My Christmas was lovely but came with an overdrawn account.
