Basic Informatica Workflow design for Beginers
1) Source Table (Oracle)
2) Target Table (Oracle)
3) Mapping
4) Workflow

Steps:

1) Login to Informatica
2) Open Powercenter Designer
3) Click on Source Analyzer
4) Import Table by selecting appropriate ODBC Datasource
5) Save the sources
6) Click on Target Designer
7) Import Table by selecting appropriate ODBC Datasource
8) Save the target
9) Click on Mapping Designer
10) Drag and drop Source and target from Sources and Target (left panel)
11) Right click on columns in Source Qualifier and drag the columns to target
12) Save the mapping and Open workflow Manager
13) Click on Workflow menu and select create
14) Click on Tasks from menu and select create or select gear icon to create new task
15) Double click on task and edit the mappings
16) Select sources and change the DB connection
17) Select target and change the DB connection
18) Save and run the workflow.
19) Status can be viewed in Monitor.
