Wait. So your family is fine sleeping on a rock like a bed but wearing rocks as shoes is where they draw the line? 😂

Yeah, I can relate to that "lost sense of orientation" thing lmao. I live in Japan for one year and already getting used to its road safety, and when I went back to my hometown in Indonesia, I can't crossing streets anymore, lmao.

"Oh no! I'm lost too! I still can't find my way around these hiking trips" "mam, it seems like you still have hope. Your daughter is not fully germanised yet"

It is true! I have not been to the Philippines for 7 years and I am scared to commute and cross the streets on my own now. 😅

One time we were crossing the street in Emirates. The car stopped and we thought something was terribly wrong. No. They just stop to let people cross 😱.

I’m not sure how you wound up in my suggestions but I love these. It’s great how you’ve turned these culture differences into comedy. Your interpretations are on point & so funny. Always looking forward to your next short…since I’ve already binge watched them all 😂

As an army brat, I spent several years in Germany, even attending a local German school as an exchange student for a year. I spent much of my young life confused about certain cultural items, like the legal age for getting a beer. However, the cultural adaptability I developed has served me well in my adulthood.

I have a German pal that visits me in NY every once and a while. Every time we go out for a walk, I'll try to cross the street on a "no walk" sign or just jaywalk, and he still has a polite panic attack every time. "Uhhh I don't think we're supposed to cross... Wait is this even a crosswalk? You are breaking the law aren't you???? WAIT, WAIT A SECOND!!!"
