Great work! I am glad you have the ability to repair that beast. The amount of IC in a console like that is insane. My 40-channel console has about 400 ICs that SSL has what like 3000...and another 2000 transistors. lol

I built a bunch of SSL9000 preamp clones, and the guy who made those boards spec'd proper 10 ohm fusing resistors for the power rails. Mouser (here in the US) used to stock them. They're designed to fail more gracefully and not burn holes in your PCBs, but I can't find them anymore.
