Shout out to the forgotten Buck Smidgen. That thing was so small and barely usable. I ended up selling mine. It was definitely the smallest and lightest knife I’ve ever owned. For a small skeletonized knife I prefer the BK Remora. And who doesn’t love a CRKT minimalist?

I think I prefer the higonokami knife over the ohta, but I suppose it’s not as lightweight

For anyone else on the light knife hunt, Al Mar ultralight comes in 2.75, 3.1, and 4in. 3.1in blade 1.88 oz. There's also the 2.88oz 2.75in Appa Kershaw knife. both have been good to me.

I have Victorinox Excelsior, Alox scales. It weights only 20 grams and 84 mm blade allows to do most of my everyday needs.
I can put my Excelsior in smallest pocket of my jeans- it is invisible.

There is a few knives companies in France. Okd ones like Opinel and Laguiole. But also militaries ones. Like Wild steer, or TB Outdoor. It's because it's forbiden to carry knives in Europe know ..! A shame !! ^^
