Our son has Autism. He is 31 now. He's verbal and simply amazing. He isn't smart in math, but he reads and understands what is going on. He is super smart (not math) he is the sweetest, most loving guy ever. He will always live at home with us. We are so proud of him. We didn't jump on any of the "so-called cures" We prayed and I worked with him every day (ended up homeschooling) He talks and has good social skills. He doesn't like crowds or little kids crying or hollering. It makes him really nervous. He has his quirks but he is just amazing. We know lots of other kids and young adults with Autism and we are very blessed. Some we know are non-verbal and one family decided to have their son institutionalized and one family gave their son up for adoption. It can be very difficult, stressful and overwhelming. We have been very fortunate that he has come so far. It was 1 in 10, 000 when he was born. Now, it's 1 in 31!! 😢

I have a grandson who is 24 now with Autism. I visited my daughter when my grandson was at an early age. He had started talking, could count and knew some of his colors. A few months later when I visited he was like a wild child. He would not look you in the eye, could not sit to play and his speech was like when you take the tuner of a radio switching it trying to find a channel and you hear garble. This was all by the age of two!!! I had worked with kids for years so I knew something was wrong!!!! He was diagnosed with Autism by the age of three. I can still remember when my daughter sent me a picture of him in a red restraining chair sitting at a table during a therapy session. My daughter could not hold down a steady job because of having to deal with him. No daycare could handle him. Schools are not equiped with aides to deal with this issue either. My daughter had to move from Florida to Minnesota to get him graduated. He is very smart and talks about wanting a job, but we know that is not possible.There is definitley a cause for this and if it's done deliberately, then I pray there will be I so thank Mr. Kennedy for speaking out about this. I've heard him talk about for the past several Thank you Charlie for highlighting it on your show!!

If RFK Jr actually figures out the autism issue by September or even makes significant steps is beyond massive. That's saving 3300 kids out of 10, 000 from autism. It's bold and I'm supporting even the attempt but back it up with pure facts and real unbiased science.
