I like how everyone he is interviewing speaks slowly, with detail, with humble voice tone, and know that they are ambitious…….focused! They think local as well as global.

During the Islamic Golden Age (8th–14th century), the Arab and Islamic world led global advancements in science, mathematics, medicine, and philosophy while preserving and building upon Greek, Persian, and Indian knowledge. Scholars like Al-Khwarizmi (father of algebra), Ibn Sina (medical pioneer), and Ibn al-Haytham (founder of modern optics) made groundbreaking contributions that laid the foundation for the Renaissance. Unlike medieval Europe, where science was often suppressed by religious authorities, the Islamic world embraced knowledge as a divine pursuit. Institutions like the House of Wisdom in Baghdad translated and preserved ancient works, ensuring they were not lost during Europe’s Dark Ages. This intellectual legacy eventually shaped modern science.

Such an ambitious and intellectually rich organisation is surely laudable. I wish I could also contribute to such organisations and thus benefit everyone and everything (on our beautiful planet); Aameen.

It is a not a city worth settling forever... Yes, a visit for 5 nights is acceptable as most of the buildings are vacant and many people have lost their capital by investing in apartments.... By 2070, whole world would be like this majorly.

It's all about strong leadership. Perfect example. It's Sad that Oman, a country right next to it with vast oil can't make it like Dubai. While Dubai has no oil. Again, perfect leadership can do wonders. In regards to KSA, MBS seems like a strong leader and he will do wonders.

It's unfortunate to see significant investments in grand structures when the same resources could be allocated to drive innovation and advancement in technology and IT. Investing in emerging technologies could potentially lead to more sustainable and impactful growth for the region and Muslim world

I've been to Dubai. It seems very hard to make genuine connection with someone out there. Everything is about money
