How to get parts to stick together in Roblox Studio 2021

could you make a parade float with this? I am tryna make a charlie and the chocolate factory parade float for a parade Im going to do in my city game but when I welded and parented the parts together the set falls off the back of the car im using in my instance I am using a flatbed tow truck so it has a platform on the back, how do I fix this?
