I Visited Heide Park, Germany's MOST UNDERRATED Theme Park

I visited Heide Park in Soltau Germany to ride every roller coaster there, including Colossos: Kampf der Giganten and Flug der Dämonen! This is my vlog from the park.

Great interesting Videos ❤ if you go to Phantasialand, there is a coaster called "Talon". I think it is the best rollercoaster i rode and i was in nearly every theme park in germany and neighbourhood except Europapark. Fly is good too because of the unusual body position. Plus the Overall Immersion in Phantasialand is really nice. i hope you enjoy germany and its parks, have a nice time👍👍👍

Heide Park was one of my favorite parks back when it still was a family owned business. I think up until 2001 the family Tiemann owned the park and added a lot of genuine local charm to the place. 2001 the Tussauds Group took over the park and a couple years later Merlin. The park never quite has been the same. A lot of the things that put emphasis on local charm and nostalgia got run down and then ripped out over the years. I probably isn't that obvious to first time visitors, but as someone who spend his youth in that park and was introduced to rollercoasters with their rides, one's heart can't help but bleed when walking certain areas within the park these days.
Still, it has some rides that can lure you back time and again, Colossus certainly among them. Great video, looking forward to the next! :)

"Big Loop looks like it's rotting"... in a Merlin Park that's called theming 😐

Heide Park lost the soul and charme when the Merlin group took over and made the park generic, removing the mascots (the historic park mascot now stands in Cologne bought by someone who also loved the old Heide Park - also Merlin is the reason the historic heritage site next to the park (which was in the old days part of the park) is rotting and crumbling.

Nice, I definitely need to go back there again, since Colossos apparently rides better and faster now than right after the retracking, where it was slow as f***. 😶‍🌫️😅
And yeah I also really like Desert Race, short but fun ride!

The Bobslead as well as the SLC are very sensitive to temperature. So most often they open earliest at noon. On hot days 1-2 hours earlier, but for the last decade the average opening time was around noon and later. Considering their age they are still great.

The bobsled is my favorite. Because you have a car for yourself. :D
(and its always different depending on the train weight, espacially at the 2nd transition after the first blockbreak - the helix befor the tunnel)

Im a german, i live like 2 hours away from heide park, i have a year card and i go there very often! I have ride every ride so many times and i love it! But i hate big loop😭 last 2 times where i went on it, i had a small blackout at the 2nd loop with a following headache, no fun😔

I notice you (like many) have a healthy disdain for SLCs - have you gotten on Great Nor'easter though? My recent ride showed me how good SLCs can actually be when tracked properly

Every person have his own opinion but i think the Heidepark is (in gut deutsch gesagt) schei#e.
Flug der dämonen is good 9/10
Krake nice drop but too short 5/ 10
big loop just hurt people 1/10
Toxic Garden just hurting people too but has a nice layout 2/10
(i didnt drive colossos)
Desert race have a very strong launch but the layout is meh 6/10
and the prices are too expensive and it doesnt taste very well.
all in all in my opinion a overrated theme park.
