They need to pass a law that before any appointments are made, the Senate must receive a detailed FBI report on each candidate to be able to give informed consent! In conjunction with any other background reports.
I do not care if you are a liberal or a conservative. Republican or Democrat, all Americans deserve a congress that does it's job, and it's research! We pay them to do their jobs, not just follow orders. Regardless of whether they confirm or not. They can not hide behind the "We didn't know" excuse. They should be able to take their jobs seriously!
