Very sad news... as a kid growing up in the 80s, Top Secret was a revelation... and we watched it over and over again. Val Kilmer then grew up with us, from Top Gun to The Doors to Tombstone to Heat to Thunderheart. He always brought something special to the screen. A personal favourite was Spartan, an uber-cool little outing that magically paired of two of Hollywood's great outliers. A significant loss to us all. Condolences to his family.
