Dickason Murders | Mother arrested for deaths of 3 children

A 40-year-old South African woman has been arrested in New Zealand.

imagine murdering your own children by strangling them with cable ties and then having the gall to plead not guilty in court. I don't understand the sympathy for this woman, and i don't appreciate the "poor her she was so depressed". Strangling kids slowly and brutally with fcking cable ties one by one, while they're screaming and fighting for their lives, it's absolutely cruel and heartless. Rather inflict pain on her babies than herself. May she remain in prison

My deepest sympathy to the husband. I cannot imagine the trauma he's going through. As for the Mother, she must have gone in a deep depression. May God heal her, and may the little angels rest in peace. She really went into a deep depression with all the changes. All we can do is pray for the family and their deceased love ones.

Looking at the comments it is interesting that the majority of people are saying the woman must have been in a deep depression OR was having trouble adjusting? Must be hard raising a family when you can’t find a nanny? Really? If the roles were reversed and the husband strangled his 3 kids to death would that be the same hypothesis? Would he garner the same sympathy? Can women not be evil and vindictive? Strangling is a slow method of murder. It takes time and you know darn well those kids were fighting back while the mother squeezed the life out of them. She repeated this process three times! This was an act of evil! Maybe just maybe she is a horrible person? Look at the likes of Susan Smith and Diane Downs. There wasn’t a psychological break in those murders. They were manipulative sociopaths. The sympathy belongs to the children and the husband. The poor husband has lost everything. I can’t imagine losing my three kids. Especially in the manner they were killed by their own mother.

Oh my goodness...something broke in her but i think she had a mental breakdown and unfortunately she did not see the way out. I know I have no right to say this but I think its not a good time to move to a new country during these times of Covid/quarantine and having no support network...
There are serious mental health problems these days due to isolation brought about by Covid. Rest in peace little ones.

Depression is pretty high in New Zealand, I've heard. Depression can lead to mental illness and then bad things like this can happen.

I think she the mother was frustrated she could not get high in peace, all those years she spent free in South Africa to just be priviledged to have an education and then booze her way through high school & university and always living in a culture of having hired help & being a priviledged white south african, spoiled rotten because domestic servants are a huge cultural prestige in South Africa... she lived the norm of white priviledge and i doubt she personally wanted kids i think she went along for the sake of her hubby and because you get the degree & the marriage then the house & what next the dog and the kids so we can all post on facebook and show off for our friends that we are the 'in crowd' we got it all... They ran from the crime & declining economy of SA to greener pastures but they took their negative minds and souls with them. She wanted her freedom and the life but realised she is just an overglorified domestic in New Zealand because there you do your own dirty work nobody cares about your status or titles you just another foreigner. What she did is unforgivable and no amount of excuses will ever justify her crime. A selfish chemical addicted pathetic evil entity that just wanted a hedonistic lifestyle with no responsibilities and restrictions... Base human
