Great story tellers like him are impossible to find. When John left Pixar the movies sucked, the heart, and creativity was gone. Quality is the best business plan. Steven Spielberg, Walt Disney, George Lucas John Lasseter, James Cameron all once in a generation story tellers.

Pixar is a SHELL of what it use to be without John Lasseter. We are seeing with Lightyear how they care more about messaging or politics over telling good stories! They lack the heart that John Lasseter brought to these movies. Is Turning Red a bad movie? Not at all, is it a good Pixar movie? Barely. Pixar is not the same and is missing that feel that old movies like Finding Nemo and more have. I watched Finding Nemo recently again for the x50012132 time and has so much more heart and soul then these new Pixar movies.
