The marsh mansion once had a beautiful marble staircase-somehow it was stolen. I heard John marsh once overcharged a woman an excessive amount for his doctors fees, So the woman overcharged him for the washing of his laundry and his shirts

Good morning Sarah and Jeff. WOW! Another great video with so much important information.

I lived in Richmond CA for 20 years. My wife and sisters used to go to Brentwood every summer to purchase fruit and vegetables to Can. I used to go through Brentwood to get to the Delta for Catfishing. We had friends that lived in Pinole, Crockett and Orinda. My late mother-in-law had a cousin that lived in Martinez.

All of the above said because all the time that we were in that area, this is the very first time I've heard this story about Dr. Marsh. Fascinating, I lived in an area that was ripe/rich in history and never knew it.

Thanks again Jeff and Sarah. You two make my day with every upload about the History of our area.

Thank you for all the time and effort you put into your videos. That mansion must have really been something in its grander years. I know you travel around California alot. I don't know if you have been in Dutch Flat, California, but there is a old Hotel there it was built back in the 1800 you might be interested in. Dutch Flat is a small, old Gold Mining town up Highway 80 past Gold Run about Four miles. I grew up

I don't understand why the people wouldn't let you film their! It's a great way to keep the place in the public eye and maybe they would get the money to fix it up! Great job with the storyline and the history of it!!! Thank you...

A very interesting story . I love hearing stories of the California area . It is amazing that someone could just call themselves a doctor and practice medicine. 😲 Another great video 👍

That is such a gruesome story. What a shame that you and Sarah were not able to get into the home. However, it does look as if the place will require a tremendous amount of work. Poor Alice, losing her parents at such a young age...💔 Thank you for the research and on-site visits, Jeff.🌈
