Some things in the Lion World are very sad. Young males have to leave the safety of the pride to go out into the world and found their own prides. It's a difficult time in a young lion's life. Being a nomadic lion is fraught with danger!

I love how shocked Sekama was when his own son hit him. Its like an ultimate betrayal from someone you protected with your life and your blood and he returns the favor with bared teeth and a slap to the face. Its honestly upsetting what would be going through his head rn

It is amazing that at his size. The son was still in the pride. Father lion usually cast out their sons when they grow up. Sekekama is still a caring dad.

Probably one of the best Lion documentaries I have seen. It's up there with Eternal Enemies in my book. Sekekama had to get onto Zaketi I believe again when he didn't want to go and hunt, but laid down. That was a great part. They used to have all the episodes on Youtube, but they don't anymore.
