My thoughts on the episode and the series so far :

Grover is low-key becoming like my favourite character in the series. I love how Aryan plays him.

PERCABETH LETS GO. This episode had so much developed for them and the PercaBeth shippers are going crazy.

I loved the little Percy and Sally flash back and I love how the show is emphasising just how important Sally is too Percy.

The suspense and acting in this is actually phenomenal. I literally have goosebumps. I needed to replay it so many times just to be able to process all of this masterpiece.

The pacing is absolutely great. I didn’t even notice the time go bye. It all felt so well put together.

As always I am loving all the little one line jokes. They are hilarious.

The Action sequences and anything related to the action is just amazing. It feels so suspenseful and well executed.

The first two episodes kinda felt off which is to be expected cus it’s the very beginning and you have to explain a lot of stuff and lay out the general rules but that made the first two a bit meh 🫤.
But 3 and 4 are were the series hits it’s stride. Everything is only getting better and better. It feels so much more natural and amazing.

3 and 4 in my opinion had the absolutely perfect mix of lighthearted fun humour, deep incredible emotion and suspenseful great action. That is exactly what pjo is and I’m super glad the series is doing a great job portraying that.

The series is doing an A+++ job of portraying the characters personalities and mindset. I was scared that they would miss portray the characters but I am very pleasantly surprised. They are doing wonderfully at showing the characters personalities without ever saying a dam word about it.

The relationship between the og trio is being developed perfectly. This episode feels like they are really starting to come together as a team and the emotions were shown so well.

The acting is probably my favourite part. I just need a minute to State how much I love the acting. I truly have nothing but love for the way Walker, Leah and Aryan portray their characters.

I was really scared that there would be too many weird changes and the show wouldn’t feel like pjo but every single one of the changes and add in’s are being done so incredibly well that I am fully convinced they all happened in the books and we just read it differently.

The gods are high key b*tchs. And I love that the series is showing that without explicitly stating that the gods are terrible.

CLIFFHANGER. Gods Dam It Uncle Rick. Why must you do this to us.

I legitimately can not wait for the next episode. 3 and 4 have made me completely 10000% addicted and I need the next episode.

I'm considering a fantasy novel that takes place in Tartarus. In it, thinking that the human population would be descendants of people the Greek gods imprisoned there, but they worship the titans. Tartarus is also home to every type of monster from Greek mythology, with those monsters viewing Typhon as a war god, and Echidna has a fertility goddess.

She actually gave birth to 2 hydras one was a man sized monstrosity with many snake like heads where as the less popular hydra was called the lernaean hydra it was a massive monstrous sea monster with 9 serpent like heads ( there’s a difference between a snake and a serpent snakes have flat pointed heads serpents have bulky dragon-like faces) the reason the lernaean hydra isn’t very commonly known is because it did posiedon service so he sheltered it in the deepest depths of the ocean and unleashed it on sea captains that didn’t give propped praise to the god of the sea it never got popular famous stories as it was never slain by order of the gods it was instead hidden and cared for by posiedon it’s myth has become the basis of many popular hydra stories which is why Disney based their hydra design on the lernaean hydra rather than the hydra of popular Heracles myths

We also have some chimera gods like Narsimha, and some chimera demons as well in Hinduism.

The version I grew up with had the list of her kids being Chimera, Hydra, Nemian lion, Orthusian hound, Manticore, Sphinx, Ladon, Scylla, and Charybdis.

I am aware sometimes Scylla and Charybdis are sometimes considered Poseidon's daughters amd that Cerberus is sometimes on the list of Typhon and Echidna's kids.
