After sonic exe has been portrayed as this unbeatable horror for so long seeing Knuckles and Metal sonic jump this mf like they're in jujutsu kaisen is REALLY hype lol

I love that we get a Sonic.Exe that’s actually struggling with Sonic’s friends and enemies for once. Like they have faced more dangerous threats like Solaris, Dark Gaia, Black Doom and even Super Neo Metal Sonic yet a random Demon is giving them trouble? (Ok granted in Some Sonic.exe games they use an alternate version of Sonic and friends who haven’t gone against as many crazy threats as their more familiar counterparts)

i gotta admit i really love the idea of sonic.exe being powerful, but behind all his tricks is somebody who doesnt really know what hes doing. he got fooled by a eggman hologram, expected a easy fight out of metal, and then got dogged on because he didnt expect to actually get hurt. most interpretations have their spooky sonic steamroll everything while this one is very much a amateur and even get pressed when eggman said that.
