Nikhil Kamath x Ranbir Kapoor | People by WTF Ep #2

We all signal a version of ourselves that we think the world should see, but rarely show the sides that make us innately human. I think society misrepresents insecurity as a bad thing.. In my opinion, Insecurity with inaction is a bad thing… insecurity leading to action is a superpower.

In this episode of People by WTF, we have Ranbir Kapoor. While the film industry seems to be all about glamour and box office numbers, I think it is quite interesting to know bits of the other side.

Ranbir went really candid in this one. Absolutely enjoyed hearing him so much outside films.

Shamani & Allahbadia with years of podcasting couldnot bring RANBIR. Hatsoff nikhil. thats why asking the right questions is important.

I liked where

1) nikhil is a good listener which lets ranbir speak what he wants to. He didn't hijack conversations and bent the conversation towards where he wanted.

2) He spoke about himself only when he was asked to or to give context, he didn't keep on saying things about random stuff about life like ranveer allabadia.

3) He didn't dictate the conversation but kept it relevant.

Please be this way nikhil. A good listener who doesn't dictate the conversation. Thank you

The best thing about this interview was it was not a interview it was a conversation Between 2 men in their 40s talking bout their profession personals experiences and ideals in their life

RK is probably the first guest who has made Nikhil think and reflect so much. Some of these questions were so deep and even someone like Nikhil had to take a moment to answer!

This is by far the most candid conversation I've come through from a celebrity. Ranbir represents a large chunk of men from 90s generation, let alone his skills to drive the entire podcast with ease.

That’s how a podcast should be. Two human beings knowing each other’s passions, curiosity and purpose. These days podcasts have become so views and virality centric that you don’t find raw conversations

True words.- 'That generation of men are scared of vulnerability.' Lots of 30+ aged folk agree.

So I had this privilege of working with Ranbir Kapoor on ANIMAL as an Assistant Director and I kid you not, he was the most loved man on the set. From the crew members like the lightmen, setting boys, spot boys to the producers. He was loved by all. Being a superstar, he was very humble, punctual, sweet, honest, candid & caring. Like after packup, everybody used to gather outside his van for pictures. He made sure he took pictures with every single one of them. He never said no to anybody. Lovedddd being around him and his team. He is a gem and I love him very much.

Ranbir is a very interesting guy. The best part about him is that he is not overly present every where which makes him more interesting.

Manifesting to see Virat Kohli and Nikhil Kamath together, and it's only possible by Nikhil to bring him in conversation

I remember in 2007 I was in 9th std and when sawariya released I had the newspaper cutouts on my tuition book and got beaten up by my teacher. Once a fan always a fan. Alhamdulillah now I'm married and coincidently I just stay 10mins away from your house and just happy for a fact that you are nearby😅 this interviews is all hearts. Thanks ranbir for showing up you.

Is no-one gonna talk about how well Ranbir was able to frame questions for Nikhil? In some moments it honestly felt like Ranbir was the host. Made someone like Nikhil, whose job is essentially to talk a lot, sit back and think.

Ranbir Kapoor is probably most misunderstood celebrity in India. He is always humble, no showoff, cringe.
He never showcase or projected him as Mr.perfectionst or green flag.

he always admit his mistake, always trying & evolving as better person.

Not only good actor. Good human too. Thanks for this amazing podcast Nikhil ❤

Ranbir could be an excellent therapist himself the way he is asking questions. Simple questions but dives deep through the answers.

What a beautiful, soothing and therapeutic conversation. No loud tones, no fake laughs, no drama. Thank you Nikhil Kamath for doing this.
