I stopped watching when you said "I dont think they own the rights" You lost all credibility there my guy. You can't have an opinion on something you aren't absolutely sure of when it comes to copyright contracts.
Sounds like you took someone's content without permission for personal gain. Then they told you to remove it since you weren't legally able to use it. My content is stolen and reused all the time. It's frustrating to say the least. The original uploader was smart enough to contract with someone who'll curb people using their video without permission.
All of YT is littered with stolen content anymore. Glad to see people are being penalized for it now. If you want to use the video pay. But don't bad mouth a company for busting you for using something without permission.
