I’m from the Texas panhandle and it burned down a 100 houses in a town called fritch and got into city limits of canidan. It’s mainly small towns and large farms/ranches I know multiple ranchers that lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in cattle

Undersea cables are noted on nautical charts so as not to anchor around them as far as i know, but in an emergency the anchor gets dropped wherever.
