The ult expands in front of morde, if morde faces back when he ults, it expands that way.

Another tip:
Morde ult does a bit of cc on cast, so if you use E into R your E will always hit (doesn't work if they have a dash)

Yeah, took some time to figure on my own, its dependent on mordekaiser position, there is no space behind him, and a bunch in front of him, and cause of that you can do some cool flash R plays to cut the enemy escape route in lane

Usually doesnt matter at all, the time of the ultimate is to long for most champs anyway. Morde is a stat checking char who often dont need to hit Q to kill you with ult... just w and walk.

It doesn't matter what direction you or your opponent is facing. What matters is where you are standing in relation to your opponent when casting the ult.

I’m doing esports for school and i just love casting Morde’s ult on the one classmate who just tries to run away when he’s at low hp from Morde’s Q and E. Regardless of spacing of his ult its just satisfying to see the run away kid not being able to run

You can also do an Insec like flash to flash behind your target and cast the ult. Even if they flash after you start the Channel it will be facing to give them no space to run.. that being said the rest of his kit is so brainless that other than that there is very little thought required to do much with him.

His ultimate is just a circle. Only works out the Jungle in lanes or center river or else players can escape using terrains

The space is always the same, it only depends what is in the way (tower map limit etc)

Same with other abilities where they are better cast behind them. Syndras W goes way faster when she throws it behind her. The tech takes a lot of practice if you play at max range
