I've seen older people walk up to my wife quite a few times, at the store, at the beach and they said that she looks like Brigitte Bardot. I had no idea who that was but my wife said that people tell her that quite a bit. She showed me at home, wow, those people were right. my wife looks so much like her in some photos that I just get goose bumps from it. we took a couple of the photos and showed them to our 8 year old son. He thought they were photos of his Mom :) Even he was fooled. He didn't believe us when we said they're someone else. Showed a video and then he realized. haha! She did makeup for models at this Chanel show one time, that's what kind of job she had. The models were asking her why she's not one of them.. but my wife is far too shy for that. Anyway, they got the message out about her and actually she had Karl Lagerfeld tell her that she's welcome to put something on and do a lap with the girls. That's pretty cool, but she declined. She really is just too shy. My son is now in grade 8 and boys in the class have a crush on his mom. too funny! After knowing each other for about 1 day, we already knew we'd get married and we did 3/4 year after we met. I got very lucky in life! That's my version of winning the Lotto!

For that she was charged with inciting racial hatred, which is silly. Islam is a religion, not a race. Middle Easterner is an ethnicity, not a race. And in a free society where she felt her culture was being threatened, there should be free speech. Her writings should have been debated pro and con, but the charge was baseless (nothing about race).

That doesn’t mean I’d agree with her. But freedom of speech is the cornerstone of a free society.
