Federal Thunderbolt 1000T Tornado Siren Test, 2 Min. Alert - Thomaston, GA 10/2/19

Recorded on Wednesday, October 2nd, 2019. This is a monthly tornado siren test of the Upson County Warning Siren System. This siren is tested at the first and third Wednesday of every month at 1:00 PM ET (weather permitting). This is probably the best high quality siren video I've ever recorded. This is a 1000AT. This siren is set on chopper 6 *running on 208V*. This siren was refurbished (by Jeb) and installed a few years ago. I was really lucky that I had a day off work for this test day. I was able to record this siren (originally planned to record the one on Sunnyside Road, but there was almost no good place to set up the cameras, so I went to this one) with Brendan W. This siren is located at Steve Hannahs Body Shop (836 Hickman Fork Road, Thomaston, Georgia, 30286).

I never knew just how loud one of these sirens really is until I finally stood 100-200 feet in front of one during a test (with ear protection). It was set to chopper level 6 or 7, rotating at just 2 rpm, and had a properly wired blower. When the horn was pointed towards me, the ground under my feet vibrated.

it doesnt sound like a normal chopper 6 thunderbolt. most likely the volt is running on 210V? or it's a C series thunderbolt?
