This was our first mushroom forage of the season!
We're Luke and Cat and we have recently become obsessed with the amazing world of MUSHROOMS!
We are VERY new to all of this, so of course the golden rule is if you aren't 100% sure of the identity of a shroom... LEAVE IT BEHIND! We are indeed novices, but the exploration and identification of mushies, even if they're not edible or if they're gross looking, is just as much fun as finding edible ones.
Luke's joy comes from being able to eat everything he finds, Cat's joy comes from being able to tap every mushroom she can find. Perfect pairing.
This is by no means a guide to help you forage for wild mushrooms, it's simply a little diary of our time together enjoying our new hobby.
