Calling All Engines: The Bad Ending

Thomas manages to clear the track and get george to the airport, but he's too late. The plane does not see him until he's too late...
With no railways, Sodors industry dies. Some engines are sent to heritage railways, some are put into eternal torture as carnival rides and others are simply sent to the cutters torch. Sodor, the island famous in the books and television series is abandoned.

The reason why Sir Topham Hatt closed the railway so quickly is because the work needed to fix the railway for the holiday makers was never finished and due to the crash, his reputation is ruined, meaning that he may lose his job anyway.

Years later, explores returned to the island and retrieved Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby, Duck, and Douglas. Other engines were either damaged beyond repair or lost or hated by fans.

Since Gordon was most likely scrapped, I wonder how Scotsman would feel about himself being the last A1/A3 in existence.

Thomas & Percy: Relocated to heritage railway thanks to their legacy
Gordon: Moved back to LNER and has reunited with his brother, the Flying Scotsman
Donald & Douglas: Relocated to a heritage railway in Scotland
Emily, Arry, & Bert: Rushed to the nearest steamworks on the mainland due to severe injuries from flying debris. Moved to another railway once they've recovered.
Diesels: Relocated to British Rail as part of its dieselization plan
Sir Topham Hatt: Bankrupt after a series of lawsuits from the families of dead passengers and the injured.
People of Sodor(survivors & locals): Emigrated to the UK, US, mainland Europe, etc.
Jeremy & George: dead from the collision
Narrow gauge engines: Likely relocated to Talillyn Railway

In honesty, I believe Thomas, duck, Oliver and Maybe Gorden would be taken to preservation, Duck and Oliver would most likely go to the bluebell railway while Thomas would be put into a railway event. And Gordon… we don’t talk about what happenes to gorden..
