AbsolBlogsPokemon posted a video about the work / researches of Mr Nba_yoh on 6th gen shinyness. The DexNav has a unique way to work, and there is a chain. But it's a lot more complicated, you all should check his work out, he looked into the game's code, so it's not a theory anymore. He also worked on chain fishing probabilities :)

Thanks for the fossil shiny hunting idea!! I can't believe I never thought of that.
I'm only on my sixth reset, but I have over 50 fossils to revive, so it takes like 20 minutes each reset.... wish me luck xD

So the Shiny Charm doesn't affect odds? Hm. This kinda hurts the full odds hype I thought I had from that shiny Aerodactyl I got on my X in game team. When I saw that Aerodactyl on the 764th Aerodactyl fossil, I was actually hanging with some friends and was saying in between a yell & a whisper, "Shiny Aerodactyl! Shiny Aerodactyl!" They thought I was in need of CPR. Lol

Then I resurrect my first fossil ever (in Pokemon X anyways) and it was a shiny Anorith.
