Well I'm glad only one out of four applied to me The oversized toiletry bag! Baggage Freedom Express helped me downsize my toiletry bag tremendously! I'm amazed at how little product I actually use on a week long trip. I can't believe it never hit me before. I use to take 3 oz containers and never bothered to realized that it was all excess. No point in weighing yourself down with too much excess.

Re #2, I used to think that the only caveat for that would be travel in extreme cold, but having done a trip in extreme cold without a vacuum bag and having used 1 in far less extreme circumstances, I can readily agree this is an unnecessary item. (I can guarantee that, if you travel like I do, you will rapidly weary of having to package up your clothes that way every other day, and wind up not using it).
I've heard people recommend them for bulky knits for winter travel. My response is: why are you packing bulky knits? There are warmer and more packable fabrics out there. From my experience you will soon regret taking a bulky knit - they are not at all practical for travel.
I would also suggest that if you feel you must take bulky knits then it's likely your outerwear isn't sufficient

I would love to take this course, however, this time frame is alredy booked during those hrs/days. Planning to travel 10 days in the Tom Bihn newer.30 liter backpack, 7 nights will be a cruise with formal wear. I already decided to let the hair go wild as only a few know me from Zoom meetings.

It all looks good on paper, the backpack is new, so will see if the challenge hopds. Last trip was TB 38 liter backpack, had to take my laptop, more paper stuff, two formals and a very small carry-on.

Yep. You will absolutely have to pry my /array/ of hair tools and products from my cold, dead hands. Good thing I barely wear makeup so I can make up the space!

I was expecting that you'd show the item you were suggesting people buy -- the smaller size toiletry bag or case. I happen to use sealing bags or compression packs. My sole bag for 5 or fewer day travel is an *underseat* rolling bag (14" x 9" x 7"). Using compression or vacuum type sealing bags allows me to take what I need, and not have to use a larger suitcase. Just that small underseater bag and my small purse are all I take with me.

My hair is beyond horrible without, at a minimum, my curling iron but I can leave my other hair care tools at home.
