I was saying out loud, “you need the longer rope” and then Matt gets out and says the same thing. You have taught me well 😊

Gotta use the VTM-4 Lock on the Honda. Works well

For future reference, Honda Ridgelines have a rear locker-esque type function called "VTM Lock". You have to put the shifter in 1st gear and push the VTM lock button on the dash. Also, riding the brake a little will transfer traction on the front-end. I've had my Ridgeline do things it should absolutely NOT be able to do. 😅

Matt, you are so good for Peanut and all the young folks you mentor on the channel. As a Dad myself, I'm in awe of how you handle all that. Props to you buddy!

You should carry a roll of silicone self fusing tape. I have fixed hoses with big rips in them and drove them back to town.

Free advice, if you ca safely loosen the radiator cap, leave it loose and it won’t pressurize forcing out coolant. It will still leak, but not as bad.

at approx. 5:00 that is the best demonstration of the difference between regular ropes and kinetic energy ropes that i've ever seen!

Looks like the Ridgeline handled those trails pretty good!

Sometimes by accident one gets great timing. Just as Matt said “We are going to let this cool down” YouTube served me an ad set in a snow and ice covered landscape.

It just amazes me that you guys don't comment about people driving into conditions their vehicle isn't capable of! Very cool!!

This is such a great channel. I've been following for years.
It's been a little hard at times to see some of the great people and personalities come and go, but just stick to your core, as you are doing, and it will continue being great. Fascinating and difficult. Rescues, and hearts and minds and personality.
And I really love that it's always clean and never dirty or profane. I noticed that from the very start.
Good going, people..❤

"Coolant leak" always makes me think of Geordy Laforge when the warp core is about to blow 😀

Wholesome and accurate trash talking at the end.

I see a lot of comments saying leave the cap off. You ever rev your engine with the cap off? You’ll loose way more water that way then with a pin leak.
