Thank you so much for sharing this elegant 3D printer from 2016. I saw someone listed it as used for sale at $500, may I ask is that still worth at this price today in mid 2024? I am really wondering about that as a beginner of 3D printing. Appreciated for your response.

its amazing. 8 years ago desktop 3D printers were bare wires, and threaded steel bars. even 4 years ago most desktop 3d printers were exposed wierd lookng things. and now we already have amazing looking 3d printers that would look perfectly in place in a house.
and its nice that they put the filament in an airtight bag, with a packet of silica gel!

This printer look exactly like my Afinia H400+. Are they the same company?? I know this is a bit old but it's the exact same thing.

Wow, they really have *UP*ped their game. (I'll be here all week...)

Seriously though, I ran a couple of labs of Up Mini's. They had good up time but could have been more consistent. I hope they're refined them in that aspect. I also hope these are easy to repair and maintain like the 1st gen machines.

Overall it looks like a nice design. I especially like the new build plates! The 1st gen ones could be annoying to work with.

Does it work with all 1.75 mm filament or does it require the special "UP" one?
