Man I feel bad I have yet to read a book from any of these authors I have picked up a few king books in the last year but still have not gotten around to them, I want to read at least one king novel this year.

Around the time of their marriage, shortly before, pictures were taken of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. The two were not together but each happened to be holding a book when photographed. The Prince of Wales was holding a book on Eastern religion while the soon-to-be Princess of Wales was holding a Barbara Cartland paperback, I think it was "The Flame is Love". The difference in reading material between the two was eventually commented on as indication of their lack of compatibility. As I recall, Barbara Cartland was the step-grandmother of Diana Princess of Wales. I remember that Miss Cartland, who was so identified with romance and who was sort-of related to Diana, didn't attend the royal wedding. I remember Miss Cartland saying something about weddings being for young people. I wonder if at that time the author's health and strength may have already been declining and that attending the wedding may have been too strenuous for her.
