That was a very sudden ending to an interstate highway, one second your flying through tunnels in downtown and the next you are on a suburban road!

I love the transition between the view from the google maps and then the front view of the camera at the begining, that was really cool, you made a great work with this. Big Thumbs Up!

I live in Duluth and love these videos. My grandpa was an engineer who helped design the bong bridge and my friend’s dad works on one of the ore ships

The downtown section with the tunnels and so on after passing the 53/535 junction looks like a mix of Boston's Big Dig area, East River Drive(Manhattan), and the 376 Parkway in Pittsburgh just before that area with 279 and the bridge/tunnel combo

I love your videos. I lived in Minnesota from 2008-2012. Lived in the Twin Cities (South Minneapolis to be exact), and traveled to Duluth a few times a year to write. Your videos bring back a lot of memories. Thanks for posting!

I was just up there for a college visit at UMD ;0. Went through those tunnels about 4 times lol. We checked out Canal Park, which I gotta say made me fall in love with Duluth. Being from the Rochester area, the large hills and mainly Lake Superior caught my attention ;). It'll be interesting living up there next year :D.

(also, gotta love that beginning entrance downhill with the lake on the horizon).

Great to finally see a video from you again!  What a beautiful drive that is up in Duluth.  I've been on 35 up there before to go to the Lutsen Mountains as well as Ely a few times.  I really owe it to myself to sometime spend a little more time in Duluth as it looks like a beautiful area because of it overlooking Lake Superior.

Such a cool video.  Your original I-35 North video in Duluth was the one that grabbed my attention to your channel, several years ago.

This has to rank as one of the top 10 or 15 most interesting urban freeways I've ever seen...either in a video, or in person.  Especially the tunneled sections through the downtown area.  Bad ass.  The song choice had me chuckling a bit; didn't see that coming from you, lol.  Enjoyed it, though.

Went ahead and shared this video on my FreewayBrent Facebook fan page.

Why more urban freeways don't have those tunnels/"lids" with parkland on top, I'll never know! A couple interstates south of downtown in my neck of the woods could certainly use that treatment sometime!

Good to see you back making more videos! You & a couple other videographers inspired me to make my own videos showcasing my side of the Midwest!

Great ride through Luke! I find it ironic the older bridge is open while the newer one is rehabbed.

Those lights on the road have 5 that are mismatched.

Wow! Very well done video. I remember the first time I ever encountered the new I-35 extension through downtown Duluth. I thought (and still think) it was awesomely done! Are they ever going to continue I-35 north (east) out of Duluth?

Is there a way to like this vid twice? I never knew this place existed until I saw this vid. Such a pretty hidden city! Perfect music too. Thanks

Cool video but from looking at the Wikipedia page I thought the northern terminus of Interstate 35 was at an intersection of roads right by Lake Superior. In this video it just seems to merge and end with a smaller highway.

I've never seen interstates that have so many curves as Minnesota seems to have. That's got to be terrible in the winter.

What video is next? Twin Cities or something?
