Julie Muccini, MS, OTR/L, Occupational Therapist, Stanford Hospital
Since 2009, Ms. Muccini has been an Inpatient Rehabilitation Neuroclinical Specialist working on the Neurology, Neurosurgical, and Neurocritical Care Units. Ms. Muccini coaches EBP fellows in nursing and physical therapy. From her years as a consulting engineer, Ms. Muccini uses her diverse background and knowledge base in ergonomic problem solving and home environment redesign to support increased independence at work and play. Her areas of interest include upper extremity motor control, strength training, visual perceptual disorders, functional memory retraining, wheelchair seating, and promoting independence in all areas of functioning and activities of daily living.
