The fact that this is one of the most realistic looking scenes in the series and it was filmed in 1992 is mind blowing to me

The cast was genuinely afraid of the T-Rex. In an interview with Stan Winston, he said "Those actors were dealing with a life size T-Rex that could kill them. So, they didn't have to act afraid, they were afraid" This was also backed up by Jeff Goldblum who said that everyone on set were told to shut off their electronics whenever the T-Rex was turned on as there were real fears that it could cause it to malfunction - putting everyone in danger.

Can you just imagine being asked "hey what's your job?" "Oh I dry off a t rex with a towel by slapping it"

I can't believe how real this looks. I have to keep reminding myself while watching the footage that the T. Rex isn't alive.

Awesome video! The Rex is one of, if not the best, animatronic characters in cinema history.

It still looks incredible and terrifying. It's incredible. 10x better than most films today. That shaking actually makes it look more alive.

I wonder where the animatronic Tyrannosaurus is stored today, probably somewhere in Stan Winston Studios.

I can’t imagine how the kids actually felt, even though it was an animatronic, it could have still killed them, and they were right under the car. So it could have malfunctioned and stopped on them!

You know when the T-Rex broke through the sunroof, that wasn’t supposed to happen, so Lexi and Tim’s reaction was real

If i remember it right, that water malfunctioning was why the T-rex smashed through the glass roof of the Jeep with the 2 kids holding it up and screaming real screams. It wasn't supposed to happen, but it made it into the final cut of the movie. Yup, the fear of that scene was genuine.

That T rex was beautiful, as some one who loves and wants to go into some form of eingineering and art. It makes me really happy.
