This is beyond sad. 10 years ago he would have probably gotten some help but now (unfortunately) an intoxicated person walking in downtown Nashville is the norm so he was ignored.

These young college students are easy targets. Feel soooo bad for his family. Young people need to be safe and stay out of these downtown areas impaired and vulnerable. This is horrible.

There needs to be more surevailence cameras in certain areas. He was also walking away from his hotel. I am disappointed that his so call brothers or friends, didn't make sure he was safely back in his hotel room. The fraternity brothers could have returned to the bar after they saw him safely to his room.

This story has broken my heart...I can only imagine his families hearts. My kids are about this age, and it's so heartbreaking to see that not one good soul helped that young man in a time of desperate need. Not even his own friends were there for him. It is absolutely horrifying to know this is the world my kids are living in. Continuing in prayer for Riley ❤

How about interviewing his Fraternity “brothers”? What are they doing to find him? That fraternity should have “brothers” from around the country searching for him. Set aside that one of his “brothers” should have left with him that night, they should be front and center trying to find him. Shows a lot about loyalty in fraternities these days.

That being said, it would be nice if they had called him an Uber, but they can't babysit everyone who walks through the door, that's not practical.
