Although I haven't raced in this game yet I have plated all the GT's, and autocrossed seriously for years....I would say the primary thing you need to do it brake much sooner, and that will let you roll on the power sooner. Corner exit speed is more important than total corner speed.

I'm not a genius but rev match when down shifting like learn the cars gears and when to perfectly downshift because if you down shift at its sweet spot you'll understeer and it will hook the car into a tighter turn and you should be able to follow the line

be real soft with the throttle and the braking as it makes it smoother in and out of the corners and givs you good entrance and exit speeds.

It does require quite a bit of footwork and uh use manual with clutch becuz it slows u down if u do otherwise and practice withot racing line

Try to apply power slowly and be fast to correct oversteer.
