The idea behind the film is to take a custom and a tradition to demonstrate that it is changeable, because traditions continue to exist ,but they also renew themselves. With the film, I want to blend the contemporary with the past to create a kind of clash, where the audience may not fully grasp time and space. "Mina blommor blev du av" is meant to give the audience a sense of wonder, sentimentality, and astonishment, with the hope that prejudiced thoughts about traditionality are questioned and provoke some reflection, even if only for a minute.

Plot:
A love-seeking woman takes on the Midsummer tradition to pick seven kinds of flowers to put under the pillow in the hope of finding her husband, but the dream/life gets an unexpected turn.
