I’m not emo but Green Day’s one of my all time favorites. Had a huge phase of listening to them in 2016 and I still listen to them. Gonna have to listen to them more now that they’re coming out with a new album!

Edit: I’m fully aware that Green Day isn’t emo. I’ve been listening to them for years, I know what genre they are. I was inferring that they’re sometimes associated with emo music despite them not being emo. When I first got into them, I’d see their music being paired up with other emo bands. Also Blvd is one of those songs where someone can mistake it as emo. I’m just tired of the replies saying “Green Day isn’t emo it’s punk” when I even replied to one saying that I’m fully aware that it’s not emo. I’ve seen other bands who aren’t associated with emo be put under the emo genre, too.
