My favorite Rafa moment was when he won Montecarlo in 2017 and I was in the crowd trying to get an autograph and I got pushed and almost fell, Rafa noticed, he stopped signing and looked in my direction making sure everyone was ok. I did get his autograph that day!

I will never forget that moment when i was 17, 1 year older than Nadal, in my tennis club said to my tennis friends, Nadal will be the best in the world, they all laughed.
From that day, everyone called me Rafa, still today my nickname is Rafa.
I also am a leftie, whole life playing with Babolat, running crazy like Rafa.
Nadal has been my idol from day 1 .
For the last 3-4 years i kept saying to my friends, its ok if he wins nothing more, cos he won so much throughout the years and i was ok with him retiring even 3-4 years ago.
Rafa Nadal is a great person, we all know that, he is not only a big tennis champion.
Rafa-thank you for all the matches, i really do remember them all .

So many memories, late nights watching his matches, the emotional roller-coaster, dealing with injury, the hard work to come back. Thanks for the inspiration, thanks for the entertainment, thanks for the memories. A highlight for me is the Australian Open 2022 victory. So many times it seemed unforeseen circumstances and fate were preventing a 2nd trophy here, but the 2022 final was the perfect moment and the match greatly symbolized the same grit, integrity and never say die attitude that was your career. Rafa is my all-time favorite athlete and idol. In Montreal, I had the chance to be in the front row on the practice court. There are 3 courts fenced in. Everyone else was going 50 - 70 % (Gasquet, Nishikora, Tsonga). Rafa of course was going 100%. In the player's tribute to Rafa, Andy Murray commented that Rafa practices as hard as match play. After about a half hour, Stan Wawrinka walked out and got warm and they played a set. Of course, Stan was going to try to match the intensity. He would not waste this opportunity. I couldn't believe my luck. Watching 2 Slam winners playing a set from courtside. Rafa ended up winning the tournament. Long live Rafael Nadal. Thank you for one hell of a ride Rafa. I have never known a professional athlete who with such phenomenal success has remained as grounded and humble as Rafa has to this day. He epitomises true sportsmanship and humanity.
