EXTREME CLEAN AND DECLUTTER WITH ME 2023 PART 1 (we have too many toys!)

Do your kids have tons and tons of toys too? Then this is the video for you if you are looking for that motivation to get your decluttering game on!

There are way too many toys in our house and they have got to be taken care of! Come along with me as a declutter tons of toys and clean. It feels good to get rid of things when there is an excessive amount. I'm slowly trying to declutter things in our home and toys are no exception.

My advice if you feel overwhelmed with your toy situation is to set a timer and focus on decluttering for that amount of time then go do something else and come back again and set another timer, then repeat how many times you want to.

When my kids were little I wish I would've done a toy rotation. They had so many toys, and it was just always a mess. I'm not going too lie, I'm so glad we are getting out of the toy stage. Lol

When my boys were little Colt (my middle) loved spider man. I found a really cute toy organizer on Amazon and that helped so much keep the toys organized a little more. They also had a huge toy box. I finally started going through that periodically and donating things out of it. Because I found they weren't really playing with a whole lot. I feel like when they have a lot of toys they get overwhelmed and can't really enjoy them. So I started trying to just purge a little bit at a time and they would be so much happier.

This video is definitely motivating. If I hadn't just done this myself, I would totally be wanting to declutter right now. Thankfully my house hasn't gone back to being a complete mess just yet. 😂

We actually did a massive toy de-clutter last year and i forgot to donate the bags and brought them this past week lol !! So glad to have it out of my house.

Hi Molly! We are in the same boat, I feel like we declutter and the toys are coloring books crayons etc build up again. I plan to do another declutter soon as my son's birthday is upcoming in August so I'm sure that means more toys. I like your method of just dumping things on the floor and going from there. We often do the same thing and it's helpful for us so we can see what has been lost for a while or not played with then to the donation bin we go! Have a great week😊

It’s so hard to stay on top of the toys! And art supplies honestly. We tried to be so intentional about what we brought in to the house to begin with, and really begged our parents to ask before they bought or sent something to Maggie. For the most part they have listened. But I really despise small junky toys with lots of pieces. We have tried to stick with wooded toys, open ended toys, and all of Maggie’s (growing collection) of realistic animal figures. It’s a constant battle!! I’m always reassessing and passing things on

I think your brain exploded after this decluter. I have been there. Its not about sorting througth. Important is to have less. No matter what.. Less.. you find 20 Hot Wheels cars. Leave 8. Donate the other. Younhave small playmobil toys..all in one bag, basement..pause for 2 yrs. He is to small for it.
