A panel of leading economists, historians & industry representatives have examined the causes and consequences of deindustrialization. Understanding why regions around the world are experiencing deindustrialisation and the negative impact these processes have had on economies, societies, and political systems, have become increasingly pressing questions. In this LRI briefing hosted by the Chief Executives' Club at Queen's, Dr Michael Aldous chairs the panel discussing how long run perspectives help to think about possibilities for reindustrialization, and the implications these trends have for today’s corporate decision makers and policy makers.
