BMW 140I VS M2 COMPETITION ACCELERATION (ALL STOCK)

This video shows how fast b58 is in comparison with s55 and how much potential is in it. Obviously all the 2 cars are stock. Please comments below your opinion.

The B58 engine is so underrated and the power it can make and take is unreal. It’s got to be BMW’s best inline 6 they have made (excluding M engines)

I went from a 2019 M140i Shadow to the 2018 M4 CS and the M4 is a whole different animal. The M140i is a great car, I owned mine for 3 years from new, but there is something special about a proper M car, and the CS is just sublime.

Been lucky enough to own both 140i and m2c. B58 feels punchier low down compared to the s55 and the s55 pulls harder at the top end. Not much in it overall but the chassis and handling blind the 140i. The M2 feels hunkered down and darty on the front end compared to the floating rear end and numb steering of the 140i. I can't argue the 140i is much better value for money and with a few choice mods can be comparable to the M2 .

Both great cars with great engines.
If I had the money, then an M2C would be sat on my driveway.
I haven't got that money, so I have an M140i sat on my driveway instead. It is running 455bhp/634nm and can gap standard M2C's, RS3's, GolfR's, A45S's, etc while costing half the price though :-))

B58 is better than S55 imho, sounds better, more economical, doesn’t have crank hub issue and just as tunable

Stage 1 on that m140i and it will fly past that m2c after 100kmh

The feeling to sit in a real M car and a semi-M is huge.
That tuned down s55 in th M2 is capable of 510hk, and you already have the suspension and the breaks ready to go..

My dad has got the standard version of the m140i he has got the 116d and it is quick on the mortorway he went 100 mph but it felt 160mph
